Heartyk9s Quality Labradoodles and Goldendoodles

Available pups from Lorelie's litter
July 23

Lorelie is a one of a kind dog. She has a gentle nature and soulful spirit. Her pups are some of my favourites as they so often display her characteristics and are very easy to raise.

If all goes well we'll get one more litter from Lorelie next year and then she'll retire. In the meantime, this is a fabulous chance to get one of her offspring. They're ready to go anytime now, as they turned 8 weeks old on July 19th.

Rattle is a playful, gentle soul. He'll likely grow to be 25-30 lbs. His coat is not overly curly and will likely end up with a shaggy look. He may shed some, but likely not very much. -- CHOSEN

Ducky is a tiny little girl with lots of character and gentle playfulness. She has a very curly coat and will likely not shed. Ducky will likely remain around the 18 lb mark.

Juno's available pups: Chuck
July 23

Juno's and Horton's pups are growing like weeds. They're bigger than I expected them to get since Horton is only 25 lbs... but either Juno has very rich milk or they took on some big genes. This is a nice combination of pups. Their coats are all fabulous and they look like they'll all be non-shedders.

Juno has a soft temperament, while Horton is bold and confident. Yet, they both love their cuddles! These pups vary just like their parents. They'll be available to go to their new homes on July 30th. We have one pup left for adoption from this litter.

Chuck is a playful lug with a soft temperament and a non-shedding type coat. He'll likely grow to around the 60 lb mark. -- CHOSEN

Meeko is available for adoption
July 23

Meeko has only had one litter for us and it is not new that she is not expecting again. Our family loves this girl since she's one of our own from our beloved Callie. Reluctantly, we've decided to home her for several reasons. Although she's very easy to have around, she is a higher energy type dog who loves her runs and does better with more one-on-one attention.

Meeko gets along well with other dogs and pups, has an excellent recall, is affectionate and aims to please. She is an F1 labradoodle and weighs around 35 lbs with a shedding coat which doesn't require trimming... except around her muzzle occasionally. Meeko is house and crate trained. She is extremely intelligent and a joy to have around.

We'll be spaying her before she leaves here. I would like to see Meeko in a home where there's a runner or a long daily walker in the family. If you're interested in Meeko, please contact us.

Meeko and Lacy are NOT expecting: Beth and Bella are
July 23

Meeko has only had one litter for us and it is not new that she is not expecting again. Reluctantly, we've decided to home her.

Lacy did not have a usual cycle. I was suspicious that she was not going to get pregnant this time, but was hoping I was wrong. We'll try her with Rumba again the next round... which I hope will be in the winter. But wait... late breaking news...

My mouth dropped to the ground, but I just realized today (July 24) that Lacy is in season again... and I'll be breeding her again next week with Kodiak instead!!! They should be ready to home in mid November... if all goes well.

Bred and confirmed pregnant:

Bella and Horton are due August 16 for medium sized (30-50 lb) F1B goldendoodles. The colours will likely be apricot and black. These pups will be ready to go home around Thanksgiving.

Beth and Kodiak are due August 22 for mini/medium (20-45lb) F1 goldendoodles. The colours expected are darker apricot and black. These pups will be ready to go after mid October.

Winter 2010/2011 pups:

Here are some planned litters for the winter of 2010/2011. These are not written in stone and may be subject to change.

Yankee and Brixx for F1 standard goldendoodles. Apricots and reds expected.

Becca and Rumba (or Kodiak) for F1 mini/medium goldendoodles. Colours are creams, apricots and maybe cafés?

Brio... and ?? for F1 goldendoodles.

Peachy Keen's and Dayo's pups are born July 22!
July 23

After a sunny day of labouring, finally, during a severe rain and thunder storm, Peachy gave birth to 11 pups! There are 9 boys and 2 girls. They're all thriving well and Peachy is doing a great job with her new babies.

The theme for this litter is inspired by Night at the Museum 2 ~ Battle of the Smithsonian. We were waiting for a big litter with lots of boys and 2 girls to make this theme work... and here they are!

The boys are: Larry, Jedediah, Abe, Teddy Roosevelt, Napoleon, Octavius, General Custer, Al Capone and Einstein.

The girls are: Amelia and Sacajawea. This should be fun!

I'll guess these pups will range in size from 45-65 lbs. They're all light apricot and cream in colour (see Peachy's and Dayo's previous 2008 litter). I'm now taking more deposits for this litter.

These pups will be ready for their new homes on September 16th. Please contact us if you're interested in this gorgeous, standard size litter.

Sugar's Swann is was available!
July 5

SWANN IS NOW CHOSEN

Swannie is such a playful and cutie pup. Her coat is soft and looks like she'll be a minimal to non-shedder. I expect she'll grow to be around 35 lbs. She's so full of personality, charm and humour!

As I was taking photos of her she decided to lay on her back in the midst of her play for a belly rub. So cute! Swann will be ready to go home on July 8th. Please contact us if you're interested in this great little pup!

Juno's and Horton's pups at 4 weeks
July 4

Juno's and Horton's pups are growing quickly and doing very well. As this is my first litter with these two it will be a mystery as to how big these pups will actually become. My guess is that they'll all be around Juno's size and larger. Juno may just have very rich milk because these pups seem awfully big, but we'll wait and see. The joy's of cross breeding... It is an adventure!!

I still have a couple of pups available from this litter. The choosing process for the present deposits for this litter will start on July 19th. The pups will be ready to go home on July 30th.

If you're interested in one of these pups... (likely only males will be left) ...please contact us.

Sara takes Gem for a ride in her scooter
June 23

Sara is my youngest daughter and she broke her leg skiing during Easter break. She is still not weight bearing and in a full leg cast. Her leg is healing slowly, but surely. Because it was a Spiral fracture it will tend to heal very slowly... and Sara's leg is taking it's own sweet time!

We bought Sara a scooter to be able to get around the farm better and to give her more independence this summer. Also to take with when she goes camping.

One thing I know is that when the kids socialize the pups they think of different ways to do it than we adults would. Gem is surprisingly liking her new ride! It is so good to have Sara's regular help once again, even though it's still limited. She's doing more than I thought she could. All 3 of our children are very involved in the dog business and it truly is a family affair.

Lorelie's pups at 4½ weeks
June 23

Lorelie's pups are some of the smallest we've had for a while. I believe that about 1/2 of them may stay under 25 lbs and possibly a few under 20!

They're a sweet bunch of pups. The biggest ones may reach up to 40 lbs and the smallest maybe 16-18 lbs?? There is such a variety in colour!! ...there are all shades of apricot, black and our very first for Hearty K9s... a phantom!

These pups will be ready to be homed on July 19th. Between Josey and Lorelie's pups I do have a couple of pups left but will not know which ones until the second week in July.
