Toby sires 2 litters that are due less than one week apart
December 14
Did we say Toby has been very busy? Well, he has!
Ultrasound has confirmed that Callie and Sally are both pregnant. Sally is due January 9th and Callie on January 15th.
Their tummies are showing somewhat and we're excited to see what these litters will bring. Callie is our biggest dog and Sally is our smallest female. Toby fathered both of their litters so this will be an interesting comparison.
What's a poppa with all these pups gonna do?
Callie's and Toby's pups are due around January 15, 2007
November 15
Toby has been very busy, but happy, and bred Callie this week. We expect their medium Labradoodle pups to arrive sometime around mid-January, pending a positive ultrasound.
Callie and Toby to have pups to be homed February, 2007
August 25
We expect to breed Callie and Toby in October, which will make for a December birth. In February 2007 they'll be ready to go home. These will be medium Labradoodle pups.
In general, Callie's pups have had amazing temperaments. Because she has such wiry hair, her pups have been known to shed to different degrees. I've had very positive responses back from the litter of pups these two (Callie and Toby) had last year. I hope we can get some more fabulous colours again. They are a vibrant red/brown.
We kept Daisy (now Meeko) back from this litter last year. She is very social, and smart. Meeko has a fair amount of energy that easily gets burned off with attention and play.
This will be Callie's last litter. Callie's former owners will take her back for her retirement years. Our place will just not be the same without our Callie around.
Callie's daughter's, Savy and Meeko, will keep the awesome heritage of Callie's temperament living on.
Meeko (nee Daisy), from Callie's and Toby's December 2005 litter. Just look at those colours!!!
